JoAnn Jenkins, 84, of Cumberland passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 25, 2025 at Mountain City Rehab Center.

Born October 31, 1940 in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Percy and Phyllis Zembower. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Odell Jenkins; two brothers, Pete and Jack Zembower; two stepsons, Steve and Bryan Jenkins.

She was a graduate of Fort Hill High School with the class of 1958, and went to work as a secretary with the City of Cumberland Police Department.

Surviving are her children, Michele Lynn Walker and Craig Michael Galliher; grandchildren, Cody Walker, Kaitlyn Walker, Cheyenne Jenkins, Stephanie Jenkins, Conner Galliher, and Cassidy Galliher; a great grandson, Branson Walker; brother, Michael Zembower and wife Jeannie; sister, Alice Kurtz; nieces and nephews, Cindy Drury, Brian Kurtz, Cami Zembower, and Brett Zembower.

At her request there will be no viewing and a graveside service will be held Friday, February 28th beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 11128 Cash Valley Rd NW, LaVale, MD with Rev. Harold McClay officiating.
