John Ronald Fanto died May 25, 2025.

He was the son of Dayton and Evelyn Fanto.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet; his son John Fanto and daughter Pamela. Grandchildren Daxton and Arden; Harriet's family Jeffery, Cheryl, Jessica, Brad, Crystal, Frank, Nicholas, Monica; Great grandchildren Jack, Landon, Colton and Carter.

He was an Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was especially proud of the house he built in his spare time. This included a utility shed, double car garage, fish pond, and plant deck for Harriet's many house plants to spend the Summer.

Visitation will be Friday, May 30 at 10 am, Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. Cresaptown location. A funeral service will follow at 11 am with Fr. Daniel Price officiating.

A committal service will follow at MD State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap, then military honors will be accorded by Ft. Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
