On November 7, 2020, John L. "Larry" Ratke, II, died due to complications of congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Sandra A. Ratke, and sons, John L. Ratke, III, and William P. Ratke, all of New Carrollton, MD. John was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Ratke, I, and Veronica "Bonnie" Ratke, and a sister, Karen M. (Ratke) Jones. He is survived by brothers, Frank Ratke (Janet), George Ratke, Gregory S. Ratke, I (Gina), and Kevin M. Ratke; brother-in-law, William "Bill" Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins. At John's request, he was cremated. Due to Covid restrictions, no funeral services are scheduled.
