Oswego, IL John Robert Wright, Sr., 81, of Oswego, IL, presently residing at the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frostburg, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the nursing home.Born in Swanton, MD on December 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Virginia (Powell) and Carl T. Wright. In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Wright; and a sister, Shirley Underwood.John was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, and a life member of the Tiger Club in Oswego.He is survived by his children, Sharon Cunningham and husband Guy, Milton, DE, Sandy Long and husband Raymond, Winchester, VA, Diane Fetters and companion Jerry Hare, Cumberland, and John R. Wright, Jr. and wife Lisa, Flintstone, MD; sister, Mary Storey, Swanton, MD; brother-in-law, Gene Underwood, IL; grandchildren, Tonya Morral, Krystal Wagoner and husband Nathanial, Mike Hall and wife Tara, Megan Craig, and Brandon Wright and wife Ashley; and great-grandchildren Adela, JackLyn, Aiden, Joanna, Kaleb, Michael, Jessica, Katelynn, Carissa, and Brooke.At John's request, he will be cremated.
