Joshua John DeVault, 38, of Cresaptown, passed away accidentally on July 23, 2023.

He was born in Cumberland, on August 18, 1984, to John and Michaelle (Ambrose) DeVault. Preceding him in death were two friends, Matt Avers and Keith McKenney.

Josh graduated from Allegany High School with the Class of 2002 and was a member of the Cresaptown Eagles Aerie 2883. He was employed as a crane operator at KJ Williams Concrete. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and four wheeler riding, and was an excellent cook. His favorite times were spent with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his daughter, Tiara Robertson; a brother, Daniel A. DeVault; girlfriend, Cecelia Sisler; his best friends, Tyler Fossheim, Travis Blubaugh, Matt Charleton, Jeremy DeWitt; a large extended family with several nieces, aunts, and a great uncle; also "his" dog, Molly.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 13800 Bedford Road, Cumberland, with the Rev. Harold McClay, Jr. officiating.
