Judith Ann Hartig, 84, of Cumberland passed away at her home on February 8, 2024.

She was born in Cumberland on October 8, 1939 to the late Howard and Pauline (Berkenbaugh) Decker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hartig, and a sister Helen Janice Creason.

Judith graduated from St. Mary's High School in the class of 1957. She then moved to Washington, DC and was employed with the federal government, working for the Central Intelligence Agency and then the accounting office of the U.S. Naval Hospital where she worked until her retirement.

She is survived by her siblings, Barbara L. Herkert of Frederick and Joseph G. Decker of Cumberland, and an extended family with numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be cremated and interred in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cumberland. Services will be private at a later date.
