Judith B. (Brady) Moore, 74, of BelAir, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland. Judy was born on February 27, 1947, in Elkins, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Brady and Betty (Parrack) Brady, of Elkins, WV. She graduated from Elkins High School, Class of 1965, WV Wesleyan College Buckhannon West Virginia, Class of 1969, and received a Degree in Business Education. She taught Business at Valley High School. She then taught Medical Transcription at Allegany College of Maryland where she retired in 2007. Judith is survived by her husband, John R Moore. They were married on June 16, 1968. Also surviving are her son, Jonathan R. Moore, of Hilliard, OH; daughter, Krista L. Youngblood, of Martinsburg, W.Va. and husband, Thomas Youngblood, of Martinsburg, WV. She has one grandson, Kyle Youngblood, Martinsburg WV. Judy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandson. For many years Judith enjoyed entertaining friends and family on her boat Youghiogheny Lake. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their Corvette on trips sponsored by the Corvette Museum. She especially loved Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, and Teton Canyon. Trips to Martinsburg to visit her grandson was another favorite destination. The Moores especially thank their wonderful neighbors and friends for their concerns and special acts of kindness they showed during Judy's illness. We appreciate everything you did for us. Thank you to the staff of Devlin Manor Nursing Home for the excellent care they gave Judy. Special thanks to Tiffany for the compassionate care and kindness she provided for many months. Friends and family will be received Thursday, November 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 5th at 12:00 p.m., with visitation for one hour prior starting at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
