Cumberland - Judy Ann (George) Plummer, 73, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Allegany Health, Nursing, and Rehab Center.

Born April 01, 1951, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Evers Garfield George and Mary Edna (Lambert) George Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ginger Phillips and Shirley Lease; and brothers, Johnny, Bud, and Robert George.

Judy was a bartender for all of her life, working 30+ years at the DAM TAVERN bar for her beloved friends, Stretch and Annie. She also leaves behind many other dear friends at the DAM TAVERN. She was an avid BINGO player at Hot Stove Bingo.

Judy is survived by her long-time companion Theodore "Ted" Alexander. She is also survived by her daughters, Tricia Plummer, Missy Gaughan and husband Keith; and her sons, Eddie "Tattie" Plummer Jr., Ricky Alexander and wife Crystal, and Matthew Alexander; her grandchildren, Blake Ashby Riley, Colby and Joey Beeseck, Jordan and Hailey Plummer, Preston and Hunter Plummer, Taylor Alexander, Ricky Alexander; her beloved beach booboos and adopted granddaughters, Olivia and Katie Martin, and Krystal Torres. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ray George and wife Lydia, Mary Kidwell, Gene George, David George and wife Laura; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two best friends, Vickie Martin, who was always by her side until the end, and her beloved dog Lizzie.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. and a service at 6 p.m. Following visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held at the DAM TAVERN.

In accordance with Judy's wishes, her body will be cremated.
