CUMBERLAND -- Justin Bernard Snyder, 38, of Cumberland, MD passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. Justin was born August 10th, 1983 in Silver Spring, MD. He is the son of Brian Joseph Snyder and Ometa Eleana Snyder. He grew up in Cumberland, Maryland and was a graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 2001. He was a member of the Campers soccer and wrestling teams. He owned a successful remodeling and restoring business within the area for 15 years. His passion and creativity helped bring vibrancy and joy into the homes and local businesses of so many. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, and a talented guitarist and musician. His music brought great joy to those who surrounded him; when an instrument was placed in his hands, he could light up any room. Justin loved to exercise his culinary skills and treat family and friends to his latest creations. He also enjoyed hiking in the serene surroundings of nature. He saw the beauty in everyone; his memory will forever be woven into the fabric of all who knew him and loved him. Justin, the song has ended but your melody lingers on. Until we meet again, we'll always look up to the sky, listen for the trees and know that you are near. All our love; until our next adventure… He is survived by his parents, Brian and Ometa Snyder of Stephens City, Virginia; his sisters, Jessica Hartman and Jocelyn Kalbaugh; his brothers-in law, Jason Hartman and Ryan Kalbaugh; his nieces, Elliana Snyder, Emma Hartman, and Eden Hartman; and his nephews, Micah Hartman and Brady Kalbaugh. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Shipe, and his maternal grandmother Delores Shipe; his paternal grandmother, Eleanor Snyder and his paternal grandfather, Don Snyder. Friends and family will be received from 11:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday, October 19th, at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD. The funeral service will be begin at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of choice in Justin's memory.
