Kenneth (Butch) Weller passed away June 8th, 2025, in the home of his birth with his wife of 62 years, Donna Weller and daughters, Kenda Schramm and Samantha Moon at his side.

Kenneth, born September 23,1941 was a 1959 graduate of Allegany High School. He went on to attend Frostburg State College and Columbia Technical Institute. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He had a long career that took him all along the east coast, finally retiring in 2006 from Parsons Engineering.

Kenneth had an all-encompassing love for his entire family. He was quick to lend a helping hand and to solve any problem. He strived to provide not only the basics but also the wants and desires of his family. He was a loving husband, a doting father and an adoring grandfather and great-grandfather.

Kenneth's greatest passion outside of his family was his garden. His yard is renowned and has often been a spot for travelers to stop and admire or request permission for photographs among the azaleas, hydrangeas and many other beautiful plants that he lovingly cared for. He has received the Civic Beautification Award for large gardens from the Cumberland Garden Club several times.

He enjoyed golfing with friends, his brother-in-law, Gregory Perry and his son- in-law, Larry Moon. He was an avid University of Maryland sports fan. His love of sports led him to coaching for the Potomac Valley Athletic Association for many years. Kenneth had also been a lifetime member of the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents John and Nellie Weller, his siblings Samuel Weller, Wanda Sherman, Kathleen Whetzel, and Lee Weller as well as his sister-in-law Patricia Perry and brothers in law Steve Perry, Roger Feight and Thomas Perry. He is survived by his wife Donna (Perry) Weller, two daughters, Kenda Schramm and husband, Ernest, and Samantha Moon and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Elizabeth Jade Schramm and spouse Michael Garlitz, Samuel Hayden Schramm and partner Alexis Racco, and Grace Elizabeth Moon; great-grandchildren, Oliver Hayden Schramm and Evelyn Elise Schramm. As well as siblings in law, Gregory Perry, Kathy Feight, Monette Perry, and Kelly Perry and many beloved nieces and nephews. A special thank you to longtime friends Eddie and Linda Martin for being supportive and wonderful friends.

In accordance with Kenneth's wishes he will be cremated.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown. A memorial service will immediately follow beginning at 4:00 p.m. and include a service by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
