Short Gap -- Kristie Lee Wolford passed on from this earth on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Kristie was born on September 1, 1989, in Cumberland, MD to Mike and Carolyn (Garlitz) Wolford. She grew up in Short Gap, WV and was a graduate of Frankfort High School.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Suzanne "Susie" Wolford and maternal grandfather, Charles Garlitz Jr.

She was a loving mother and daughter who always had a willingness to help others with a smile and true compassion.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandfather Donald Wolford Sr.; maternal grandmother, Linda (Lueck) Garlitz; three children who she loved and adored, Christian Chaney, Jaxson Ways, and Zakary Hoover; sister, Brooke Wolford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Though her walk through this life was cut, short her everlasting journey through heaven has just begun.

A private graveside service will take place at a later time.
