Larry L. Dicken, 65, of Cresaptown, MD passed away June 13, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland with his wife by his side.

Born October 31, 1959 in Cumberland he was the son of the late Richard and Vernadine Dicken. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert, Lenny, and Patricia; and mother-in-law, Katie Forbeck.

Larry graduated from Fort Hill High School with the class of 1978. He held various jobs in the area, before having a career that he loved as a direct care aide at the Thomas B. Finan Center. After he was a personal care sitter for the elderly.

He enjoyed Taekwondo at the YMCA. He loved hunting, was a member of the NRA, and the Fort Hill Rifle & Pistol Club.

Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Kathy "Kathleen" Dicken; a son, Casey Aaron Dicken; two precious granddaughters, Victoria and Brooklyn Dicken; siblings, Ritchie Dicken Jr. (Marie), Sharon Stevey (Larry), Debbie Miller (Eddie); a very close nephew and niece, Chuckie and Jessica Layton; his wife's family, Jamie Shambaugh (Barry), Helen Forbeck (Tim), Andrea Dicken, James Forbeck; and a large extended family including nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Stella.

In accordance with his wishes there will be no viewing or funeral service and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, MD.
