Laura Joy Clark, 59, passed away March 16, 2022, at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD. She was born January 22, 1963, in Baltimore, MD, to William Holbrook and the late Linda "Hope" Brown-Roberts. In addition to her mother, Laura was proceeded in death by a sister, Marcia Lynn; step-mother, Judith Holbrook; and great-grandchildren, Schuyler, Jr. and Elias Gordon. Laura was a homemaker, and lived for her family. Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Charles "Choddie" Clark, II; daughters, Kelly Sinclair, and Christina Thompson and partner Schuyler; sons, Joseph Thompson and wife Kristian, Thomas Thompson and wife Tonia, and Dustin Thompson; sisters, Debbie Sliger and husband Shane, Lisa Wright and husband Bobby, Michele Poremski and husband Mark, and Holly Breitschwerdt and husband Mike; brothers, Skippy Ratcliff and wife Rene, David Ratcliff, and Chuck Ratcliff and partner Angel; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her life will forever live on in our hearts. Visitation will be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherri Ziler officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD.
