RIDGELEY – Leo W. Cox, 73, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at home, surrounded by his family. Born on August 14, 1946, in Morgantown, he was the son of the late George and Ruby (Cramer) Cox. Leo met and married his wife, Donna, in 1998. He was in the Army Reserves, and he worked at CSX Railroad. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, and attended Mount Zion Church. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Mock) Cox; son, Greg S. Cox and wife Sue, WV; daughter, Gail Keller, MD; step-children, Christy Calhoun and husband Dean, OH, and Justin Mock, PA; grandchildren, Juston Cox, MN, Carisa Durst, OH, Elise Hegwood, DE, and Shawn Cox, WV; and great-grandchild, Sophie Beeman, OH. In accordance with his wishes, Leo will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
