CUMBERLAND – Linda Jean Eversole, 74, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at home.

Born January 9, 1950, in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Mary Alice (Willison) Schurg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda (Eversole) Beal; sister, Marian "Sis" Skidmore.

Linda worked at the Cumberland Blouse Factory before moving on to employment at Schwab. She began her career at Hunter Douglas in 1989 and retired after years of service in 2014.

Linda is survived by her husband, Vincent Lee Eversole; children, Belinda McManaway (Jackie), Shelly Platt, and Christy Dixon (Joe); grandchildren, Seirra, Kayla, Danielle, Devan, Katawna, Hayden, Payton, Bret, Samantha, Taylor, and Brady; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and sisters, Ruth Drew and Evelyn Atkinson.

A service will be held in the mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 1pm with the Rev. Seth Wharton officiating.
