Linda Kay (Snyder) Giles, 74, of Cumberland, passed away on Oct. 13, 2025 at UPMC – Western Maryland.

Born Oct, 2, 1951 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward James and Meriam (Wilhelm) Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Mulligan, Judith Wilson, and Dolores Jane Welsh.

Linda was a devoted mother and homemaker. She also enjoyed her work outside of the home particularly at Gabriel Bros. for many years and then retiring from Devlin Manor Nursing Home where she worked as a dietary aid. She also was a devoted caregiver to her many rescued cats.

Linda is survived by her one son, Brian Giles; former husband/lifetime partner, Donald Giles; one brother, James Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 11128 Cash Valley Rd NW, LaVale on Friday, October 17, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am with Michael Mudge officiating.
