Cumberland—Linda Sue Platt, 74, of Cumberland formerly of Greenspring, WV passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born in Greenspring, she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Jesse Smith.

Linda attended Hampshire High School in Romney, West Virginia. She was employed by the Allegany County Board of Education as a custodian at John Humbert Elementary School.

Linda is survived by her children, Tina Platt, Tammy Platt and Robert Platt; grandchildren, Alisa Platt, Donovan Platt, Abby Platt and Anny Platt; great grandson, Thrayne Platt; brother, Ronald Smith and wife Gale; special cousin, Roxanne Platt. Lionda is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Glen Cemetery in Green Springs, WV, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. to help defray funeral expenses.
