Linda Ann (Koelle) Valentine, 78, of Cumberland, MD, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, January 24, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born May 24, 1946, in Altoona, PA, she was a set of triplets. She always teased her brothers about being the oldest one and they had to listen to her.

Linda was preceded in death by her best friend and husband John Richard Valentine, Jr. of 48 years and 7 months of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Elizabeth Koelle of Hagerstown, MD; one brother, Doctor William Koelle of Cumberland; and grandparents, Harry and Helena Clossin, and Ludwig and Olive Koelle all from Altoona, PA.

Linda graduated from Fort Hill High School, Class of 1964. She also attended Cathermines Business School. Linda worked for the Board of Education for 35 years in the cafeteria.

Surviving are two wonderful daughters Amy Valentine and Brandi Valentine of Cumberland, MD; one brother, Irvin Koelle and wife Bonnie Koelle (Shelby, NC); a special sister-in-law that was like a sister, Bonnie Harper.

Linda's pride and joy are her five grandchildren Angelica "Angel" Pryor, Jason Pryor and fiancé Briana, Dakota Rohrbaugh, Hunter Rohrbaugh, and Lindsay Pryor and fiancé Collin. Special joys for Linda was her great grandchildren Zanden, Creeden, Aiden, Haisley, Addy, Elnora, and Grayson. Linda also leaves behind a bonus grandson Zach Nixon; her favorite grand-dog Mr. Wilson; and her best friends Donna Clark, and family friend Amber Baer.

In accordance with her wishes, Linda will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
