Lois Jean (O'Donnell) McMullen, 95, of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Allegany Healthcare Nursing and Rehab.

Born on June 18, 1930 in Cumberland, she was the daughter to the late Norbert B. O'Donnell and Evelyn G. Porter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh A. McMullen, Sr.; son, Daniel F. McMullen; and sisters, Carol L. Nagel and Patricia R. Jacobs.

Lois was a nurse for several years in Baltimore, MD with Johns Hopkins.

She enjoyed volunteer work with the Red Cross, and volunteer work with the Gilcrest museum.

Lois is survived by her sons, John J. McMullen and Hugh A. McMullen, Jr. and wife, Carol. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and inurned with her husband in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland on Tuesday, February, 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Ryan Schmeltzer officiating.
