GRANTSVILLE – Loretta May (Leasure) Kline, 88, of Grantsville, formerly of Corriganville, passed away peacefully at UPMC Western Maryland on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Born February 2, 1933, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Edna (Hott) Leasure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 53 years, Earl Kenneth Kline; sisters, Dorothy Lease, and Alma Miller; sister-in-law, Pat Leasure; and brothers-in-law, Donald Kline and James Miller.
Surviving are three brothers, Russell Leasure (Maxine), North Augusta, SC, Samuel Leasure, Piedmont, SC, and William Leasure (Betty), Edgewood, MD; sister, Anne Leasure, Grantsville; sister-in-law, Dolores Kline, Waynesboro, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loretta was a faithful member of Calvary Bible Church, Ellerslie.
She worked as an assistant to Dr. Benjamin Feldman for many years. She enjoyed bowling, and loved playing tennis with her friends.
She had a ready smile for everyone and offered gracious hospitality, including her good cooking, to guests in her home. Loretta loved spending time with family and friends. She regularly expressed thanks for Starla and Miriam's faithful loving care, which allowed her to stay in her own home the past two and a half years.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD, on Monday, May 17, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Greg Miller officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap.
