Cumberland, MD- Louise C. (McKenney) Nixon, 71, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2020. Born August 24, 1948 she was the daughter of the late John McKenney and Lillian (Fresh) McKenney. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life Kenneth Rice,Sr, a son Kenneth Rice Jr., three grandchildren Christina Martin, Trevor Martin and Shawn "Kinser" Nixon, a brother Johnny McKenney, and a sister Libby Reel. She leaves behind eight children: Misty James and husband Garland James II; Christina Pittman; Patricia Galliher and husband Rick Galliher; Robert Nixon Jr.; Louise Nixon and significant other John Flynn; Kendra Rice; Brenda Martin and husband Todd Martin; Kenneth Rice and wife Sara Rice. Grandchildren: Julie James; Haley James; Trinity James, Lillian James; Paisley James; Thomas Pittman; Gavin Pittman; Makenna Pittman; Raquel Dillon; Alexis and Savannah Galliher; Hunter and Lucas Nixon; Sara Hubbard; Brandy; Jasmine and Zach Flynn; Westyn Parks; Kentyn and Macklyn Rice; C.J. Martin; and Britney Martin. Eleven great grandchildren and six siblings: Pam Macdonald and significant other Larry; William "Mike" McKenney; Bernard McKenney; Charles Perry; James Perry and Ruth Summerfield. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8 from noon until 2pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home,P.A., 108 Virginia Ave. A graveside service will follow at Davis Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce McBride officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Rice, Christopher Hill, Rick Galliher, Todd Martin, Zach Flynn, and Thomas Pittman.
