Lynn Ann McGuire, of Cresaptown, passed away on Feb. 18, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Dale Croasmun and Sandy McFarland. She was a graduate of Allegany High School, class of 1974, and Frostburg State, class of 1978. Lynn retired from the State of Maryland after 30 years as a child support agent. She spent 13 years volunteering at the Tri-State Zoo, maintaining the aviaries. She also volunteered for Basset Rescue and many other animal organizations. She leaves behind her husband of 40 plus years, Wm. C. "Mac" McGuire; also, Helen McGuire, Liz McGuire, John and Helen McGuire, Sharon Hunnicut, all of Hagerstown; Linda and Tonya Derrick, of Cumberland, Helen, Larry, and Laurence George, of Ridgefield, Conn.; and many cousins in Pennsylvania, that she loved dearly, and many friends that loved her. She will be missed by all. Her body was cremated and services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donate to The Red Cross, or your local animal shelter.
