Cumberland—Madeline Mae Stottlemyer, 90, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the Lytle's Personal Care Home, Markleysburg, PA. Born in Allegany County, Maryland, on January 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Abigale (Hartley) House. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Stottlemyer; son, Mark Edward Stottlemyer; and several brothers and sisters. Madeline was a graduate of Oldtown High School. She was employed at Schwab Company. Madeline enjoyed her family, and she loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Daniel L. Stottlemyer; grandchildren, Jason K. Stottlemyer, Danielle Eyler and her husband, John E. Stottlemyer, III and his wife, and Kyle D. Stottlemyer. Madeline is also survived by five great-grandchildren. Do to health considerations, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
