CRESAPTOWN – Margaret "Margie" Marie (Anderson) Ware, 92, of Cresaptown, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Potomac Valley Hospital.

Born November 18, 1932, in Lonaconing, MD, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Isabelle (Spiker) Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Loy Lou Wendricks and brother, William "Peewee" Anderson.

Margie was a 1950 graduate of Allegany High School and went on to work as an embroiderer at S. Schwab Company. She was a past president of the Cresaptown Eagles Women's Auxiliary #2883 and a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed sewing and going to Bingo. Margie was also an incredible dancer. She loved spending time with her family and cooking delicious Sunday dinners for them.

Surviving is her grandson, Clifford Paul Wendricks, IV and wife, Amy.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 12 to 1pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm with Rev. Harold R. McClay, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be private in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
