Martha Cornell Henson, 81, of Cumberland, formerly of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at home.

Born September 19, 1944, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Betty Cornell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Bedwell.

Martha was a graduate of James Madison High School. She went on to graduate from James Madison University with an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She worked as a private practice nurse for over 25 years. Martha enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Davis and husband, Lee and Kelly Latkovski and husband, Peter; step-son, Edward

" Ted" Bedwell and wife, Alexa; grandchildren, Hunter and Samantha Davis, Jeremy Jones, Audri, Todd and Blake Latkovski;

step-grandchildren, Samuel and Aidan Bedwell; brother Timothy Cornell; and sisters, Judi Roth and Beverly Straub.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Planned Parenthood, in Martha's name.
