Mary Marcelle Eady, 67, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at her home.

Mary was born August 18, 1956, she was the daughter of the late William T. Eady, Sr. and Jean Eady. She leaves behind her daughters, Jennifer J. Elliott (James) and Cyerra M. Berkenbaugh (Nikki) and her son, Travis W. Michael (Kristy); her grandchildren, Marisa Steiner, Kayla Michael, Carson Steiner, Conner Michael, Tyler Michael, Grace Elliott and Sawyer Elliott.

She also leaves behind her brother, Billy Eady; her sister, Barbara Ackman (Tom); a niece, Katie Collins (Gage) and nephew and godson, Matthew Ackman; great niece, Brielle Collins; great-nephews, Bentley and Colton Collins; and her baby, Willie who was always by her side.

Mary attended St. Mary's School and was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1974. She attended Somerset VoTech, Allegany Community College, Drexel University, and Carroll Community College. She was a proud member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mary worked as a LPN/RN and LNC throughout 35 years. She loved her career at Care First, as an RN/BSN for over 20 years.

Mary loved to travel and was lucky enough to reconnect and travel with her friends from the Class of '74, especially Diane Mason Feeney. She also traveled with her siblings and cousins.

Mary loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2 to 4pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday, July 15 at 11am.

Inurnment will be private at a later date.
