RIDGELEY, WV – Michael "Mick" Charles Hatter, of Ridgeley, WV, suddenly passed away at UPMC Western Maryland on Monday, April 6, 2020.
He was born in Stamford, Connecticut, on September 14, 1960. He was the son of the late Charles and Betty (Brinkman) Hatter.
Surviving are his son, Michael E. Hatter, LaVale; two sisters, Jakki Rogers (Boyce), Cumberland, and Jenny Hatter, Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Chris Hatter (Cyndee), Jeanette, PA; nephew, Brandon Adams; niece, Isabella Hatter; and grandniece, Delilah Adams.
Mick served in the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, California, and was self-employed. He attended Frankfort High School and loved West Virginia sports. He and his father had a passion for the Washington Redskins football team.
Mick was a people person; he never met a stranger and always had a smile to share and a joke to tell. He had a heart as big as Texas, and helping others was his mission in life. With a positive attitude, he lived life to the fullest and always on his own terms. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date so that all may be in attendance.
