FROSTBURG – Mickayla Marie Detrick, 26, of Frostburg, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. Born February 10, 1994, she was the daughter of Cindy Minnick and husband, Rich, of Cumberland, and Von Detrick, of LaVale. Mickayla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Marcie Wilson, and Colin and Juanita Detrick; and her oldest son's father, Jamerrill Claiborne. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Isaiah Detrick, of LaVale, and Grayson Detrick, of Martinsburg, WV; siblings, Christian Wilson, Ella and Ethan Minnick, and Miracle Detrick; aunts, Kim Maphis, Jaime Wilson, Cindy Hartman and husband, Jeff, and Debbie Detrick; uncles, Michael "Bundy" Maphis, Shane Walker, Colin Detrick, Jr., Lyn Detrick and wife, Holly; special aunt, Barb Gladem Stump and husband, Justin; cousins, Ryan and Tyler Maphis, Tiara and Bryce Walker, Josh Hartman, Jessica Twigg, Lake Detrick, and Trey Detrick. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. Mickayla was an amazing person who loved her family fiercely, her boys especially. She will forever be loved and missed. Fly high, my sweet baby girl; you are free. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, on Friday, September 11, 2020, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Caleb Shaffer officiating. In accordance with Mickayla's wishes, her body will be cremated following the funeral.
