Neva Deanna Campbell, 77, of Cumberland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at UPMC- Western Maryland.

Born March 19, 1947, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Bland and Velma (Shoemaker) Benson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father Howard Benson and a sister, Linda Bland.

Neva went to Fort Hill High School and graduated with the class of 1965, in that same year she married her husband of 59 years, David Leroy Campbell.

She dedicated her life to her home, family, and helping other people.

She was a member of many local organizations, and especially the Woman of Faith at Davis Memorial Church, where she made a LOT of apple butter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Georgi Ziler, Barbara Hanna and husband Benjy, Carrie Reed and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Kristin Robey, Haley Sayler (Joe), Morgan Selby, David Selby, Cheridan Ireland, Jeremy McConnell; great grandchildren, Rosie, Bentley, Saint; two sisters, Dee Leutert and Michelle Kho; and a large extended family with many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland on Sunday, October 6th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marshall Carder officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Interment will be in MD State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap.
