Obituary

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Pamela Ann Frye (Price) went to be with her Heavenly Father and reunited with her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Frye.

She was born February 4th 1955, in Chambersburg Pennsylvania, to the late Paul and Mildred Price. Upon her father's death, Pam, her brother, and her mom moved to Mexico Farms. Here, she grew up "running" the farms, was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls before becoming a member of The Order of the Eastern star. She enjoyed ice skating on the canal, and many other activities with the Mexico Farm kids.

She was a graduate of Fort Hill High School in 1973, followed by achieving an associates degree from Allegany College of MD. She later graduated with a Bachelor's of Science from Frostburg State University in 1998. Pam believed education was an important foundation for individuals to have. She homeschooled several members of her family, taught quilting in Continuing Education at Allegany College of Maryland, taught as a substitute teacher and an English teacher at CCIT for Allegany County Public Schools.

Pam instilled the Christian faith on her children, both at home and through her teachings at Sunday school at Davis Memorial Church. Here, she also aided in bible study programs and youth group trips. She later became a member at Ellerslie United Methodist Church.

Pam was a committed 4-H volunteer. She helped with the Allegany County Fair in many facets and contributed to the Allegany County homemakers where she participated with her mother. Pam was awarded the 20-Year 4-H Volunteer certificate, as a token for all of her contributions.

Pam had many creative hobbies including crocheting, knitting, drawing, painting, and quilting. Her eyecatching quilts were loved by all who were able to receive them, and won awards at many fairs. Additionally, Pam was a lover of literature, reading many types of books and writing her own stories that she has left throughout the property.

Pam is leaving behind her legacy of family, which includes: her daughter Angela "Angel" Frye; son Joseph "Joey" Frye and wife Heidi; grandsons William O'Boyle and fiance Grace, Charles "Charlie" O'Boyle; granddaughters Magnolia "Maggie" Frye, Porsha "P" Frye, and Saylor "Say" Frye; brother Patrick "Pepper" Price, brother-in-law David Frye and wife Carolyn. Among many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. All of whom gave fond memories to look back on throughout her life. She also leaves behind her two dogs Tequilla "tiki" Mockingbird, and Bear.
