CUMBERLAND – Pamela May "Pam" MacDonald, 73, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born July 5, 1950, in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Lillian M. (Fresh) and John McKenney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. "Ron" MacDonald, in 1985; siblings, John McKenney, Carol Nixon, Elizabeth (McKenney) Reel and Mike McKenney.

Pam was a graduate of Fort Hill High School, and she went on to work as a hairdresser. She was a Lifetime Member of the Goodfellowship Club.

Pam leaves behind her son, Rick MacDonald; daughter, Rhonda Redman and partner of 10 years, Todd Smith; partner of over 12 years, Larry; grandchildren, Charissa Breeden and husband David, Richard MacDonald and wife Brie, Venessa Canan and husband Matt, and Dakota Redman; great-grandchildren, Makenna and Adelyn Breeden, Lawton and Scarlett MacDonald, Braelyn, Kaibrien, and Tinley Canan, and Jacob Redman; siblings, Jim Perry, Chuck Perry, Bernard McKenney, and Ruth Summerfield; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5 to 6pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6pm with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502 to help offset funeral expenses.
