Patricia Ann Ruppenkamp, 84, of Cumberland, MD passed away peacefully at home May 13, 2026.

She was born July 22, 1941 in Cumberland to the late Ralph E. and Agnes M. (Schaffer) Lueck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Charles W. Ruppenkamp.

Patricia graduated from Fort Hill High School and remained a life-long fan. She married her husband at St. Patrick's Church and provided a warm home for him and her children.

She was a member to the Cresaptown Eagles, Cumberland Moose and Goodfellowship Club. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Her family and friends will remember her as a strong woman with a sparkling personality who never met a stranger. She was a caring mother and mother-in-law, doting grandmother, endearing sister and fun-loving friend.

Surviving are her children, Jane M. Ruppenkamp and partner Sherrie L. Smith, Michael C. Ruppenkamp and partner Danielle Dabrowski, Douglas E. Ruppenkamp and wife Renee, Kellie L. Wolk; a brother, Thomas E. Lueck; grandchildren, Brian M. Ruppenkamp of California, Madison P. Wolk, Maxim C. Smith-Ruppenkamp; her friend who was a sister to her, Patricia Phillips; and her extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, PA 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland.

Visitation will continue Monday, May 18 at the funeral home 11:30am to 12:30pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cumberland MD with Fr. Stephen Fernandes, OFM, Cap. officiating.

Interment will be with her husband in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD
