Peggy Joyce Logdson, 89, originally of Ridgeley, WV, passed away surrounded by her family, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born February 23, 1935, in Polish Mountain, MD, she was a daughter of the late James and Thelma Fletcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Logdson; two sisters, Virginia Fletcher and Betty Fletcher; five brothers, James, Earl, Kenny, Donnie, and Billy Fletcher.

Peggy was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved helping people and cooking, and above all else her family and grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children, William Logdson, Jr., Judy Geiger and partner John Kellmann, Steven Logdson and wife Suzie; grandchildren, Jessica Fringer, Joshua Bevins and partner Megan, Samantha Logdson and partner Chris, Matthew Logdson, and Taylor Geiger; great-grandchildren, Jarrick, Mason, Joshua, Addison, Jadence, and Emreigh; and sisters, Carol Tribut and husband John, and Darlene Taylor; along with a large extended family.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD, followed by burial with her husband, with Minister Billie Smith officiating.
