Phyllis Ann Gorgol, 82, of LaVale, passed away on November 8, 2023.

Phyllis was born in Scranton, PA on September 2, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred Sobraski and Florence Fedrick, and her sister Jacqueline Fedrick.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Kimberlee Gorgol (Michael Connelley) of LaVale, MD; her son Erick Gorgol (Connie) of Clarksville, TN; grandson David Gorgol (Jenna) of Arvada, CO; and nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was a graduate of Marywood Seminary High School, and the Comptometer School of Business, both of Scranton, PA. She was employed by McIntyres market and deli, the Bowler, and the Fruit Bowl before retirement.

Phyllis enjoyed cooking and baking, especially desserts; nurturing plants and flowers; and was a passionate dog lover. She had a great heart and loved to help others. She was very energetic and full of life and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17 from 12-2pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave, a funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm.
