Rae Kline Brodell, 88, of Naples, Florida, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Rae was born on December 30, 1932, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the late George and Florence (Grossman) Kline. She was also predeceased by her loving husband, Robert D. Brodell in 2017. She was a 1950 graduate of Allegany High School, and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1954. She rallied to earn her Master's degree in Education at Frostburg State University in 1995. She taught kindergarten several years before committing herself to raising her family, and embraced her life as a homemaker. Later in life, she enjoyed volunteering at local elementary schools in Naples, Florida, and donated her time to tutor young children struggling to read. She was a lifelong member of B'er Chayim Congregation in Cumberland. Rae is survived by her adoring children, George and his wife Dianne, and Lynne and her husband Howard Hansell; her loving grandchildren, Robert Brodell and his wife Arletta, Eric Brodell and his wife Laura, David Levine and his wife Danielle, and Rachel Doudt and her husband Calvin. She was especially happy to have the honor of becoming a great-grandmother to Wyatt and Audrey Doudt, and Maya Rae and Mason Robert Levine.
