Ralph "Buddy" Michael Minick, 79, of Ridgeley, WV, passed away on May 2, 2026 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on May 29, 1946 in Cumberland, MD to the late Lillian Mae (Wolford) and Ralph Lewis Minick. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Robert Minick.

Buddy was a 1964 graduate of Fort Hill High School. Buddy worked for over 20 years as a mold changer for the Kelly Tire Company. Upon the closing of the tire business, Buddy worked for 5 years in Winchester, VA at General Graphics and 5 more years at Hunter Douglas, until his retirement. Buddy enjoyed hanging out with his buddies and drinking beer.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Joyce (Gormer) Minick; two daughters, Maria Barclay and Melanie George; and a step-son, James L. Parsons; nieces, Tina James and Tammy Robey; also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, Buddy will be cremated and no services will be held.
