Rayann Louise Cero, 66, passed away on March 2, 2026, at her home in Cumberland, MD surrounded by her family. Born on April 12, 1959 in Nice, France she was the daughter of late Raymond Alden and Alice Marie (Worth) Angell. In addition to her parents, Rayann is preceded in death by her son, Steven Eugene Eilers.

Rayann worked as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant for several nursing homes over the span of twenty years. After moving to Cumberland, Rayann worked for seven years at the Allegany County Animal Shelter, where she was affectionately known as the "Crazy Cat Lady". Her love of all animals was evident during her life, but cat's held a special place in her heart. Rayann also enjoyed growing plants and had quite the green thumb. Above all else, she loved her family.

Rayann is survived by her son, John Emil Eilers III; granddaughters, Desiree Eilers, Joanna Eilers, Lyndon Eilers and Stevie Eilers; siblings, Debra Scott, Nedra Angell, Raymond Angell Jr., and Ruth Angell; and daughter in law, Marie Eilers.

In accordance with her wishes, Rayann will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
