Regina Marie "Jean" Davis of Cumberland entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Asa and Regina Marie (Billings) Martz. She was also proceeded in death by her brothers John Martz, George Martz, and sisters Anna Lee Tyler and Marguerite Tenly, and nephews Randy Tyler and Mark Tenly. Jean retired as a telephone operator from C&P Telephone and then worked at various other jobs for many years. She was a lifelong member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, class of 1951. Jean is survived by her daughter Michele M. Wilson and partner Patrick Ward, her beloved grandson Daniel Wilson; her brothers, William Martz (Sharon) and Edward Martz (Marge); nieces Diana Hinkle, Jennifer Bristley, and nephews Greg Martz, Jeff Martz, George Martz Jr., Michael Tenly, and Matthew Tenly, numerous great-nieces, and nephews; her dear friend Mary Barillaro and family; her special girls, Missy Lawrence, Peggy Atkinson-Blair, Karen McCabe, and Nancy Twigg, and god-daughter Barbara Barillaro. The family would like to give a special thank you to her loving caregivers, Jennifer, Cindy, Sandy, and Karen D., Avery, and Brendon and the PCU staff at UPMC Western Maryland for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be held on October 10, at 10 a.m. at the Shrine of SS Peter & Paul Church 125 Fayette St., Cumberland with Father James Watson.
