Richard Lee Glaze, 83, of Green Spring, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at his home.

Born June 12, 1941, in Hampshire County, he was the son of the late Walter Conrad and Hester Ann (Kerns) Glaze. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Herbert, John, and Marvin Glaze, Walter Glaze, Jr., Georgia Burdock, Merle Beal, Gladys Powers, Beatrice Whitacre, Ruby Gilpin, Ethel Swan, Eva Sebold; daughter-in-law, Brenda Glaze and his nephew, John Glaze, Jr.

Richard served in the United States Army. He worked for Kopper's Incorporated for over 40 years as a heavy equipment operator.

Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting for deer.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Nora Glaze; children, Michael Glaze (Daneen), Brian Glaze (Rita), Tim Glaze (Tammy) and Rick Glaze (Becky); grandchildren, Ethan (Tiffany), Chad, and Emily Glaze, Crystal McFadden, and Clarisa LaBonte; great-grandchildren, Elliott and Natalie Glaze; his sister, Linda Riggleman and husband, Fred; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
