CUMBERLAND Richard K. Platt, 60, of Cumberland, passed away at home on Saturday, March 26, 2016.Born July 19, 1955, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Bonnie (Thompson) Platt and Richard C. Platt. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Platt.Richard was a 1973 graduate of Fort Hill High School and also graduated from Allegany Community College. He was employed at Local 489 Plumbers and Steamfitters. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.He is survived by one son, Richard E.
