Richard Dale Stevey, 58, of Little Orleans, MD passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 30, 2025.

Rick was born January 27, 1967 in Cumberland, MD. Preceding him in death was his brother, Larry Stevey Jr.

He worked as a carpenter his entire life. Rick loved all animals, and spending time outdoors fishing and just being outside. But especially he loved his time with his family and friends.

Surviving him is his wife of 31 years, Sylvia L. Stevey; his mother, Nancy Snyder; two sons, Matthew Stevey and Zachary Stevey; a grandson, Sloan Stevey; a brother, Bill Stevey and his wife Tina; many nieces and nephews; his extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Remi.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
