CUMBERLAND – Robert Kelly "Bubba" Crissey, 38, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Born August 6, 1982, in Cumberland, he was the son of Robert Leroy and Sheila Ann (Crites) Crissey.
Bubba was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Crites and his mother-in-law, Linda Hampton.
Bubba was a graduate of Fort Hill High School. He went on to take over for his father as a truck driver at AC&T. Hunting and fishing were huge passions in Bubba's life, and he loved spending time with his niece and nephew. He loved his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Caesar, who will miss him very much.
He leaves behind, in addition to his parents, the love of his life, wife, Misty Lynn (Hampton) Crissey; his best friend and hunting and fishing buddy, son, Aaron Crissey; brothers-in-law, Johnny Hampton and wife, Rachel, and their children, Jeremiah and Reagan, and Eddie Hampton and wife, Brittany, and their daughter, Anna; lifetime best friends, Gary Ritchie and Frankie Shambaugh; special cousin, Travis Robey; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In accordance with his wishes, Bubba's body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, on Monday, May 24, 2021, at noon with Pastor Rob Pierson officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior.
