Robert Alan Dick, age 71, of Bedford, formerly of Cumberland, died peacefully, Friday, Jan. 11, 2019. Born in Cumberland on Sept. 16, 1947, he was the son of the late John Calvin, Jr. and Elma Jane (Gurtler) Dick. Robert was a graduate of the University of Maryland, and went onto become a data specialist at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.Robert is survived by his daughters Jennifer Ann Dick of Durham, N.C., Stephanie Nicole Nagle, and her husband Joseph of Hanover; his sister, Ann (Dick) Nuger, and her husband Marc of Ellicott City; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Nicole Nagle and Connor Joseph Nagle.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD, on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m.
