Robert Jay Toey, 61, of Cresaptown, passed away on Oct. 30, 2023. He was the son of Robert (Bob) and Ida Toey.

He is survived by his Son, Christopher Toey; and grandchildren, Adelyn and Wyatt. Jay is also survived by his sisters, Tina (Mike) Toey and Susan (Brian) Pritchard; his Uncle, David Toey; Aunts, Janet Nicol, Nancy, and Jimmy; Lee, Mary Lou Colmer and Dot Butler; Nephews, Roger and Sammy (Heather) Spencer, Zachary Toey; and Niece, Harmony Toey. Also numerous cousins and extended family.

Jay enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles in his younger years and being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was employed in various jobs over the years and especially was proud that he helped in the construction of the golf course at Rocky Gap.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 1-3pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3pm with Rev. Harold McClay, Jr. and Rev. Patrick Buhrman officiating.
