Ft. Ashby, WV Robert Stevenson Miller, 70, of Ft. Ashby, WV, passed away at the Dawn View Center in Ft. Ashby on Friday, April 20, 2018.Born in Cumberland, MD, on October 15, 1947, he was the son of Betty J. (Blubaugh) Miller, Bedford, PA, and the late Wentin Miller. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce W. "Buster" Miller; step-son, Chas Ebeling; and sister-in-law, Debbie Tenley.Bob was a graduate of Bedford High School. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Once he was discharged, Bob was employed at R. C. Lapp Corporation, PPG Industries, and many independent contractors.Bob formerly attended Central Assembly of God Church in Cumberland. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and mushroom hunter.He is survived by his partner of 23 years, Donna Kay (Richmond) Ebeling; his children, Jay A. Miller and Diane Sensabaugh, Cresaptown, Tronnie L. Miller and husband Christopher M. Jenkins, Bedford, PA, and Tiffany Snyder and husband Scott, Ft. Ashby, WV; sister, Dianna Miller, Cherryville, NC; brother, William Miller and wife Kathy, Bedford, PA; grandchildren, Kyle, Robbie, Ayden, Richard, Cody, Travis, Blake, Brooke, and Aaron; great-granddaughter, Charleigh; sister-in-law, Janet L. Miller, Bedford, PA; brothers-law, Robert Richmond and wife Jane, Ohio, and Roccie Truact, Glendale View, WV. Bob is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 4 P.M. at the funeral home. At Bob's request, he will be cremated.
