Cumberland – Robert William "Bobby" Nixon, Jr., 52, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born August 2, 1971, in Cumberland, he was a son of the late Robert and Louise Carol Nixon, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth Rice; son, Shawn Kinser; niece and nephew, Christina and Trevor Martin.

Bobby enjoyed fishing and playing BINGO.

He is survived by his sons, Hunter and Lucas Nixon; siblings, Brenda Martin and husband Todd, Louise Nixon and John Flynn, Patricia Galliher and husband Rick, Christina Pittman, Misty James and husband Garland, Kenneth Rice and wife Sarah, and Kendra Rice and fiancé Russell; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special cousin, Shauntae MacDonald and fiancé Todd Grimes.

His body was donated to science. A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held at a later date.
