Cumberland, MD- Robert Earl O'Neal, 87, of Cumberland passed away on January 12, 2024 at his home.

Born December 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Earl Alvy and Mary Ruth (Little) O'Neal. He was also preceded in death by his wife Kaye (Ullery) O'Neal.

"Bob" served in the US Navy for four years. After completing service he was married and started a family. He retired from the State of MD Finan Center. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially his family.

Surviving are his children Robbie (Cindy), Kelly (Kevin) Steckman, Wade (Julie), Shelly (Jim) Fitzgerald, Matt (Mandie), 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and his brother Jim (Linda).

Visitation will be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home,P.A., 108 Virginia Ave. on Thursday, January 18 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow officiated by Rev. Harold McClay.

Interment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.

Military Honors will be accorded by Post #13 Honor Guard.
