Obituary

Robert Allen Priddy Jr., 60, of Tempe, AZ went to be with his Lord and savior October 28, 2025 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ with his brother by his side.

He was born in Cumberland, MD on July 20, 1965 to the late Robert A. and Lenda (Heller) Priddy Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rob or Bob as some friends knew him, graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1983. Immediately after graduation he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served from 1983 to 1989 and specialized in avionics. Following his service to our country he worked as a semiconductor technician for both Intel and Applied Materials.

His contagious smile, character, and charm would light up every room he entered, and he loved his time with family and friends. Rob loved sports and played softball throughout his life, and was a diehard Baltimore Orioles and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was very handy handling many home improvement projects on his own, and mechanical enjoying working on and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Also he loved music both playing guitar and attending concerts.

Surviving are his very close and heartbroken siblings, Leslie Fike and husband Bob of Piedmont, WV, Lenda Schaidt and husband Randy of Ridgeley, WV, and Gary Priddy and wife Leann of Chandler, AZ; his two nephews, Steffen and Mekel Priddy; and his large extended family and many friends.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated. He will be inurned with his parents at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Cumberland, MD. A graveside service will be held at a later to be announced date.
