Robert Clyde Robertson, 73, of Cresaptown, MD passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2026.

He was born in Cumberland on April 29, 1953 to the late Harry and Mildred Robertson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, William Carl Robertson; older brother, Harry W. Robertson; and sister, Louise Oster.

Robert served in the U.S. Army, had a career as a truck driver, and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He will be at peace now.

Surviving him is his wife of 55 years, Deborah A. Robertson; two sons, Robert Clyde Robertson Jr and his significant other Jackie, and Michael A. Robertson and wife Carrie; five grandchildren, Taylor, Chelsea, Carly, Tyler, and Logan; 8.5 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Jane Redden (George), Barbara Fister (Lester), and Patricia Marks (Charlie); a large extended family including many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Bittie.

A viewing will be Thursday, August 13th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown.

Followed by military honors and chapel service by the American Legion Post 13 Honor Guard and Chaplin beginning at 2:00pm at the MD Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD where internment will take place.
