Robert Anthony Snyder, 64, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at UPMC-Western Maryland.

Born March 25, 1960, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Joseph Franklin Snyder and Sylvia Jean (Carroll) Hedrick.

Robert proudly served his country in the Navy for 20 years before retiring. His favorite things to do all involved being outdoors whether it be walking the dogs or boating.

Robert is survived by his only daughter, Stacey Snyder; his granddaughter, Alyssa Maid; his partner, Sharon Duke; Sharon's children, Melissa and Angela; his brothers, Tim, Alan, and Ron Snyder; his life-long friend, Jim; and his beloved dogs, BeBe and Joey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.

Interment will be held in Maryland State Veteran's Cemetery, Rocky Gap with a graveside service being held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be performed by Ft. Cumberland Post 13 Honor Guard.
